Joker 2 Reveals All But Destroy The Biggest First Movie Ending Theory

Although plot details of Joker: Folie à Deux are still a mystery, photos and videos from the set have made some big reveals about the story and its characters, and they also destroy the biggest theory about the ending of Joker. In 2019, Todd Phillips brought a different version of the Clown Prince of Crime in Joker, introducing the audience to Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a failed stand-up comedian dealing with mental illness who is pushed to his limits by the decay in Gotham City and other personal issues.
Arthur’s actions – from the accidental murder of two businessmen from Wayne Investments to the planned murder of Murray Franklin (Robert De Niro) – unleashed a violent countercultural revolution against the rich in Gotham, leading to riots and many deaths, including those of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Joker: Folie à Deux will continue Arthur’s story after he was last seen imprisoned in Arkham Asylum, and from what set photos and videos have revealed about the story, Joker 2 is already debunking the biggest theory about Joker’s ending, proving that it might have not been entirely in Arthur’s head.
