Deadpool 3 Is Bringing 2 More Fox X-Men Characters Into The MCU

Deadpool 3 is set to bring back another two Fox X-Men characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Reynolds leads Deadpool 3 alongside Hugh Jackman, who returns as Wolverine. Since Jackman's return was announced, Deadpool 3's cast has only grown, with several actors from the Merc with a Mouth's last two movies returning for the mutant's first MCU adventure. Now, it has been revealed that Deadpool 3's cast of Fox X-Men characters is getting even bigger.
Deadline revealed that Deadpool 3 has added actresses Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna, who previously portrayed Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio, respectively, in the Deadpool franchise. Hildebrand played the explosive Negasonic Teenage Warhead in both Deadpool movies so far, while Kutsuna debuted as Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s kind girlfriend, Yukio, in Deadpool 2. The two join a host of returning characters from the franchise, which include X-Men member Colossus, Wade Wilson's girlfriend Vanessa, X-Force's Peter, and more.
How Negasonic Teenage Warhead & Yukio Might Fit Into Deadpool 3's Story

Deadpool will have to enter the MCU in the new movie, and in doing so, there are a few ways for how the characters from the Fox X-Men movies could appear in Deadpool 3. With the trilogy finale marking the first time a Fox character headlines a Marvel Studios movie since the two studios became one, Deadpool 3 is bound to do a lot of the heavy lifting to explain how both universes connect.
Marvel Studios is currently undergoing its Multiverse Saga, which presents the perfect explanation for how Deadpool and other Fox X-Men characters could join the MCU. Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio could have a big role in Deadpool 3, as the two characters were the last ones to see Reynolds' Wade Wilson before he used Cable's time-traveling device to fix a number of events from the past. More than that, Negasonic Teenage Warhead was responsible for fixing the device used by Deadpool. There are some rumors claiming that Deadpool 3's story will involve Loki's Time Variance Authority trying to catch Wade for messing with multiple timelines.
Given her role in helping Deadpool go on this path, Negasonic Teenage Warhead could either be propelled to help Wade escape the TVA or have the organization hunt her as well. Her girlfriend Yukio would have her back in any situation. Deadpool 3's story could play out through a few different paths. It could mostly take place in the Fox X-Men universe before shifting to the MCU at the end, start in the Deadpool movies' universe and quickly move over to the MCU, or have the characters jump through several universes throughout the film. In any case, the Fox X-Men characters will likely have an important role in Deadpool 3.
