A popular Superman fan cast actor for James Gunn's upcoming DC Universe reboot, Superman: Legacy, gets imagined with a comics-accurate costume in new fan art. With the DCEU evolving, Gunn and Peter Safran are crafting a new DC Universe through the freshly launched DC Studios. One of the most highly anticipated projects is Superman: Legacy, which Gunn wrote and will direct, as production is being eyed for 2024.
One actor who has become a major fan-favorite in fan-casting is David Corenswet, as he is actually rumored to be up for the role of Superman. As Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Studios have yet to cast their new Man of Steel, digital artist Clement Ink imagined the actor with a comics-accurate suit.
Corenswet, who bears some resemblance to Henry Cavill, has been proposed to star in Superman: Legacy through countless fan-art and trailers. The actor has thus far not spoken about the possibility of becoming the next actor to star as Krypton's last son.
